Summer Program

Every year, Vecinos Unidos hosts a week long summer program for current students that gives them the opportunity to get a head start on learning for the upcoming school year and go on local field trips to interesting places in the community.

During this program, volunteers will work with elementary students, individually or in a small group, one evening of the week for 90 minutes on basic reading, writing, and math. You do not need prior tutoring experience to volunteer for our summer program.

If you enjoy volunteering for the summer program, we would love to welcome you back as a regular volunteer for our year-round homework program!
