Bright and early Saturday morning, several hundred people came out to support Vecinos Unidos and its partners in Connections for Hope (C4H). Runners and walkers of all ages (even a couple in strollers) enjoyed splendid weather and soaked up the positive vibes that come from contributing to a great cause. A clown, Zumba , balloons, and snacks all contributed to a festive atmosphere that raised money for all the good works to come. All along the route were reminders of the great accomplishments of the C4H partners and all the people who have benefited from their services. The C4H partners really are beacons of hope for the greater Herndon community and far beyond.
A special thank you to all the board members and VU volunteers who helped make the day a success. It was also really exciting to see some of our students and parents participate. If you missed it, make sure to put it on your calendar for next year. We’ll be there!
